Cost-effective UHF RFID reader to help mobile computing customers and partners worldwide meet the needs of field service, asset tracking and route accounting markets in Europe

An Ultra High-Frequency RFID reader is now available for the European market, further enhancing the multimedia data capture capabilities of the WORKABOUT PRO. Operating at 869.5 MHz, Ultra High Frequency RFID is often used in applications such as asset tracking or closed-loop supply chain logistics.

The WORKABOUT PRO is a rugged hand-held computer with the power to run advanced applications to meet the needs of the enterprise user. It delivers reliable performance in harsh environments and is able to withstand multiple drops from a height of four feet onto concrete. This rugged design enables it to meet customers' real-time communications needs in almost any work situation. The rugged device also utilizes Windows CE .NET, allowing it to be tailored to the specific needs of any particular mobile workforce.
