Handheld Company: Psion Teklogix To Expand U.S. Headquarters In Northern Kentucky

Psion Teklogix, a global provider of solutions for mobile computing, wireless data collection, imaging and RFID, announced recently that it will expand the U.S. headquarters of its subsidiary in Boone County, KY. "We are excited that Psion Teklogix is expanding its operations in Northern Kentucky and bringing new, important employment opportunities to the Bluegrass state," said Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher. The new 60,000 square foot facility will provide office space for sales, accounting, marketing and U.S. government sales operations and a number of new full-time jobs will be created with the expansion. "Northern Kentucky offers an array of cultural and recreational activities, a unique quality of life and a dedicated, savvy and educated workforce," said Kyle Day, Americas VP Marketing & Sales Operations, Psion Teklogix. "Psion Teklogix is a vibrant company focused on growth and we look forward to expanding in this active community."

The new office building will be built in Riverview Business Park, a 200-acre business park in Boone County on Arbor Tech Drive, owned and developed by Al Neyer, Inc. "We welcome Psion Teklogix to Riverview Business Park, the company joins several other international companies in a location with easy accessibility to the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport," said David Neyer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Al. Neyer, Inc. Groundbreaking is set for Spring, 2007. Psion will lease the new facility from Al. Neyer.
