Dimerco Receives AEO Certification In Taipei And Kaohsiung

In view to enhance better security matching with global supply chain customs and warehousing services standard , Dimerco Express (Taiwan) Corporation, the global logistics & transportation service provider submitted an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) application for its Taipei and Kaohsiung offices, and were both AEO certified recently. Dimerco promoted the AEO system in June 2011, and applications were submitted to the Taipei Customs Office (TPCO) and the Kaohsiung Customs Offices (KHCO) in Oct the same year.

In Nov., 2011, AEO teams from TPCO and KHCO went for inspections at Dimerco various locations including Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Taichung and Kaohsiung offices, to verify if all 14 basic criteria were fulfilled, and a self-assessment form check for related AEO certification. Dimerco AEO applications were successfully reviewed by the Directorate General of Customs (DGOC) on Dec.20, 2011, and were granted AEO certifications in 3 categories including " forwarding ", "customs brokers" and "warehousing" by TPCO, and 2 categories including "forwarding" and "customs brokers" by KHCO.
