Proven Practices For Achieving, Quick, Measurable Cost Savings Across The Value Chain
The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and Food and Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) are pleased to announce an invitation-only roundtable discussion of the impact of rising fuel costs on value chain operations in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Rick Lenny, former CEO of The Hershey Company and former chairman of the GMA Board of Directors, will facilitate this interactive forum focused on how organizations are working to minimize the impact of fuel costs on the value chain operation.
The Fuel Roundtable discussion provides an ideal platform for a cross-section of industry leaders from top CPG companies, including CEOs, CFOs, chief strategy officers, senior vice presidents of supply chain, and chief procurement officers, to share experiences and learn as the industry continues to adapt to the ever-changing global environment.
The objectives for the session are to explore future economic trends, discuss tactical best practices to reduce costs, drive efficiencies and strategies for competing effectively in the current economic landscape as well as to discuss the impact that rising fuel prices are having on new and evolving consumer shopping patterns.
Based on early member guidance, the following topics have been raised as productive areas for discussion in this Fuel Roundtable session:
- Best practices to minimize cost impact and to achieve fuel savings
- Collaborative industry solutions
- New and evolving consumer shopping patterns
Who should attend:
CEOs, CFOs, chief strategy officers, senior vice presidents of supply chain, and chief procurement officers should make this event a priority. As there has been significant interest from industry leaders in this event, attendance will be limited to one representative from each company and registrations will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Registration is not available online, please RSVP by Oct. 1 by contacting Michelle Marcoot at mmarcoot@gmaonline.org
